Finca Dreams
This project illustrates the interior design of a finca in Llucmajor, Mallorca. It focuses on traditional elements like handcrafted tiles and carved wood, combined with a calm and timeless use of materials.

This finca outside Llucmajor makes its position clear from the start. Individual elements are placed with intention and fit naturally into the whole. Hand-painted tiles on the kitchen backsplash, a heavy carved sliding door in dark wood, and curved brass pendant lights above the island give the room structure without overpowering it. The white kitchen, with open shelving and an island, feels calm and generous. The dining area, with a raw oak table, two rattan lights, and a fireplace, opens onto the hallway. The carved wooden door adds a clear but measured accent. In the living area, the design becomes even more pared back. A deep white linen sofa, a round root-wood table, and a raffia piece on the wall bring warmth and quiet to the room. The porch carries this atmosphere as well. Teak sofas beneath white timber beams, surrounded by mature trees. The bathrooms combine marble basins with lattice-front vanities, black mirror frames, and classic chrome fittings. Clear, functional, and well judged. The primary bedroom relies on quiet materials. Warm smooth plaster, a raffia mirror, and a view through the glass door to the landscape. On the natural-stone terrace, the view opens wide. The pool, palms, a pergola with loungers, and a shaded thatched roof sit naturally in place. In the distance: Llucmajor and the blue toward Cabrera.
